That is the link to apply to adopt. He is from FHDR as state above.

He is a pure bred cream colored Cocker Spaniel, Its rescue we have no papers but he certainly looks exactly like a pure breed. Since he came to rescue needing a grooming he had that done, but likely it is time again for another grooming. He is about 30 pounds maybe a bit over that.

We do not know his age, that is our guess? He has plenty of energy so we dont believe he is very old.

He has a very cute underbite and is a very quiet dog. He love humans . All dogs he has met that are nice to him he likes. We just don’t see him with a dog who is aggressive to him. We were informed he might be dog selective with a male dog. He has had several play dates with two male dogs (his size or so) and those went great? So who knows? All we have discovered is if the dog is friendly and plays well with him it will work and he likes to play. If the dog acts aggressive, then he does not like that dog (understandably).

The rescuer says no children, as he is a stronger willed dog.. He can sometimes redirect on his handler, so he needs an adult only home. He has a few quirks which will be discussed with anyone prior to adoption.

He knows the command sit. He is not a fussy eater so happily eats his food and any treats you offer him. He doesn't necessarily finish all his kibble right away, so we have allowed him to graze.

He still has plenty of spunk! He is so great and easy in his crate, quiet and doesn't rip things up and doesn’t bark because he is in his crate. Of course, he'd happily be on your lap or be taking a walk with you. We are working on his leash training as he does pull some. He goes outside and does his pottying pretty quickly. If its raining he wants to come back inside. He definitely enjoys being an inside dog. He doesnt want to hang out outside even if the weather is good, he enjoys being inside on his dog bed and he has some doggie chew things and a ball and he will play with those not all the time but he does enjoy them.

He has shown us he is potty trained. We think he takes time as do MOST dogs to settle in. Every person he has met he is excited and friendly with from the getgo.

If you do apply pls email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com so we can make his rescuer looks for his application. Yes, even though we are not his rescue. thank you

The last photo was soon after his grooming. His hair has grown since then
