My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little one's name means many things in different languages, but my favorite for Rosalind is the meaning of "rose" as she is sweet and delicate with the strength to have survived a street rescue with her eight siblings and mama Nebula.

Allow me to introduce you to Rosalind, a petite wonder at approximately 2 months and 3 weeks old.

Rosalind is a true embodiment of sweetness and affection. She's an explorer at heart, and when you're around, she feels more secure and confident to venture out and discover the world that surrounds her.

In the garden, she becomes a whirlwind of energy, racing at full throttle with infectious joy. Strolls are among her favorite pleasures, and nothing delights her more than moments of affection.

This little one is a playful soul, adoring interaction with other dogs, playing with her siblings, and relishing your company. Moreover, she possesses remarkable intelligence and keen observation skills.

Rosalind is also an expert in taking long naps, which allows her to recharge her energies, ready to continue exploring and playing with renewed enthusiasm.

Join Rosalind on this wonderful journey filled with joy and discoveries. You're about to share unforgettable moments with this charming companion!

Rosalind is fostered in Ajijic, Mexico, and can be adopted locally, or to locations in the United States and Canada.

To ensure the well-being of our puppies and travel requirements to the US and Canada, Bone Voyage Dog Rescue requires full vaccination protocol. Due to the varying ages in which we receive puppies, additional time to complete their protocol may be required.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
