My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pretty as a flower, that's Petunia! This sweet girl was rescued with her mama Nebula and 8 brothers and sisters. From a tiny little thing to a pup that is now flourishing with health and vitality, Petunia will soon be ready to venture forth on grand adventures with her forever family. Add a Petunia to your garden and your life and see how colorful and fun this pup will be.

Meet the sweet Petunia, a little girl possessing a radiant smile that lights up not only her face but also her eyes. It's a smile that reflects the immense love she carries within, and she absolutely adores receiving affection in return, showering you with kisses as her way of expressing gratitude.

She's a playful and curious explorer by nature, always eager to investigate her surroundings, making her an exceptional companion for outdoor adventures. Her intelligence shines through her actions, as she's quick to learn and exhibits remarkable obedience.

Petunia finds sheer delight in frolicking in the garden, and she cherishes those moments during walks where she can take in the world around her.Join Petunia in the journey of life, filled with her infectious smiles, endless playfulness, and the warmest of affections. You're in for a truly heartwarming experience!

Petunia is fostered in Ajijic, Mexico, and can be adopted locally, or to locations in the United States and Canada.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
