My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yosemite is a sweet small-framed boy. His life started out hard when he was dumped in a commercial parking lot with his siblings Montana and Jewel. Luckily they were found and made their way to us here at FHAR. Yosemite had an eye infection that was untreated while on the streets, leading to his eye needing to be removed. That doesn't stop him. He plays just like all the other kitties, but has a permanent "wink". Yosemite is also FIV+ but that's no big deal either. He lives and plays along with the FIV- kitties in his foster home. It can only be transmitted through deep bite wounds. Yosemite can be a bit shy at first. He is a bit nervous with new people, as to be expected. He is gaining self-confidence with his new look. Once he trusts you he is nothing but a sweet love bug. He wants all the attention he can soak up. He'll sit in your lap for hours. Yosemite's ideal home would be a quiet home with a retiree, an older couple, or a family with older children that are reserved and quiet. He doesn't like the hustle and bustle of a loud busy home. Yosemite would benefit in a home where his humans are home a lot. He also needs a kitty companion in the home or to be adopted with another kitty. That kitty needs to also be a laid-back- nondominant type kitty. He gets overwhelmed with obnoxious type kitties. Yosemite loves to play with feather toys and crinkle balls too.
