Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In 2019, I drove across the country to meet my brother so I could take in his dog, Nika.
He couldn't keep her anymore. He didn't have the space or the time to give her the care she needed.
I worked with her a lot and helped rebuild her confidence, gave her love and have helped her socialize. We have two other puppies who she was aggressive towards when they were smaller, but after working with her, they now all get along and play together.
We now have a 1 year old daughter who makes Nika nervous, so we need to find Nika a new home, where she can stay forever.
She’s a loving and supportive dog. She is so eager to get attention and love. She gets excited for love. She is protective and barks when people come in the house, but I have taught her to disengage by commanding her to “go lay down.” She is such a good dog and it pains me deeply to have her rehomed. It would be amazing if she could find a home with someone who could let her run around and play in a nice yard.
