Frankie was born around August 1, 2016 and weighs about 12 pounds, he's more fluff than anything. He keeps his girlish figure by enjoying many fruits and veggies and apples and carrots are some of his favorite. Joyful received an email asking for help in the Rochester area with a home that had 40+ dogs. The humans started taking in dogs that no one wanted and after a few years, they became overwhelmed and asked for help. Joyful agreed to step up and here are the Penfield 20! Frankie is the type of dog that has never met a stranger he doesn't love to pieces and is one really happy boy! Frankie rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash. We did a dental on Frankie but like so many small breed dogs you will likely have to do more in the future. He may be a little bit older but you would never know. If you say his name all silly and hold your arms out he will jump up for you to catch him! These dogs came from a situation where it didn't matter where they went potty so please understand you will have some work to do on house training and we often suggest potty pads for tiny dogs with tiny bladders. We have found Frankie has too much interest in cats to live with any. It's time for Frankie to live the life he has always deserved! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
