Meet Tucker! This sweet baby is a one-year-old Labradoodle who weighs 70.8 pounds. He's house- and crate-trained, and he'll paw at the door when he needs to go potty. Although Tucker walks well on a leash, he'll pull if he's meeting another dog. He gets the zoomies and jumps in the morning when he's coming out of his crate, but he hasn't jumped on new people nor jumped during day.
Tucker loves playing in the yard with his canine foster brothers. His ideal home would include a doggie playmate and a fenced-in yard so he can get the zoomies out. He's very friendly and loves everyone! He quickly adapted to his foster home and has a toy in his mouth about 80% of the day. He enjoys playing with toys, fetch, and frisbee. Other hobbies include chewing, enjoying car rides, and following his special person around all day. He's experienced some obedience training, and knows sit, stay, down, paw, and heel.
"One big unit of a puppy, " is how Tucker's foster parents describe him. He loves playing and is very intelligent. He'll drop the ball for you when playing fetch. The only thing that disappoints him is his canine foster brothers haven't figured out how to throw the ball for him yet, even though he keeps dropping it in front of them!
Tucker probably needs a family who is ready for the energy he brings to a household. His foster mother shared: "Tucker is truly a sweet boy, and I think it's going to be really easy for his new family to fall in love with him!"
His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
