This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need.
We are all volunteers.
Dixon is almost 1 year old, weighs 11 lbs and is a combination of greys and brown which will change as he grows up because he has a very rare gene coloring in the ShihTzu called a Dobie. Dixon is confident, yet submissive, he is great with kids, dogs and people. He is independent, playful, and very loyal. He loves his squeaky toys. He is laid back and stays very close to his people. He loves to cuddle with you and will walk you to the bathroom in the middle of the night too!

OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss as soon as we find our match . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet on Saturday September 1. Presently he is in Arkansas and we will transport him here next week for his meeting. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families.

Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
