Meet Appa (named after an Avatar character), he’s such a handsome, eye catching boy with his beautiful brown merle and white coloring. He is VERY adventurous, VERY active, VERY outgoing and has a zest for life, so I feel confident in saying that he is going to be a whole lot of fun for some lucky family. He is a super friendly and happy guy as well and he adores everyone that he meets. He is great with other medium size dogs and he loves older kids. He really hasn’t been around small dogs or young children, but given his activity level, he might be too much for them. If hiking or running is your thing, I think he will make an excellent partner for you. He is house trained and he uses a doggie door to go out and do his business and play in his fenced in backyard. Appa is a little over 1 ½ years old (dob 12/24/21) and weighs 45 pounds. He has been neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Appa is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
