My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Not only is Dandy a handsome fellow, but he’s a lot of fun too! He is a sweet and happy boy that has a zest for life…he is outgoing, fairly active, and like most youngsters his age, he enjoys playing and having a big time. He loves his toys and he tends to hoard them and is fairly protective of them, as far as other dogs go, so he needs to be the only dog in the home. He is house trained, crate trained, leash trained and he knows “sit” and “shake”. He is ok with older kids, but a little too strong and rambunctious for young kids. Dandy will certainly make some lucky family a wonderful companion. Dandy is a 16 month old (dob 3/27/22) medium sized dog weighing 31 pounds (at the time of this posting 8/25/23), has been neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Dandy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
