My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bandit II, Male, 4 years old, dark sable
Bonded with Scooter, Male, 4 years old, light sable
Surrendered 05/27/23

Bandit and Scooter both turned into chunky fatty bois during the winter. These photos are from last year when they were surrendered, and they don't do them justice. Both boys are super playful and super huggable.

Adoption Requirements:

Please send a message to arizonaferretrescue@gmail.com or via Facebook Messenger to Arizona Ferret Rescue (https://www.facebook.com/ArizonaFerretRescue) and answer the following questions:

1. Do you live in a house or apartment? If you live in an apartment, please provide the name of the apartment complex.
2. Do you have a cage set up? I need to see pictures of it if you do.
3. Do you have food ready? If so, please let me know what food you plan to feed them.
4. You will then need to fill out an adoption application
5. I may require a home check prior to adopting
6. If you already have other ferrets, I want them to have a play date to make sure it's a good fit and they get along.
7. We do not deliver ferrets to their new homes. Perspective adopters must make an appointment and come to the rescue for the adoptions in person.
8. Since ferrets are illegal in California, we cannot adopt to people who live in California. This is for the safety of the ferrets.

Go meet their pets

By appointment only. Adoptions are only done in person, and paid for with cash at time of adoption (no deposits in advance);

More about this rescue

Diane rescues Ferrets from the Humane society, California, and owner surrenders. They are vet checked to make sure they are healthy and adoptable. Diane is in central Phoenix. Her email is DS31760@aol.com if you have any questions.

The rescue is closed for adoptions during the month of December every year, because ferrets aren't Christmas gifts! But you can always start the adoption process by filling out the application, and volunteering at the rescue if you don't have any previous experience with ferrets.

If you have a Facebook account, the easiest way to reach the shelter is to send us a message. https://www.facebook.com/ArizonaFerretRescue
