Meet Ddobok❤️
Ddobok was startled by thunder and fled his home, eventually getting hit by a car and taken to a hospital. After several indecisions by his owners regarding surrender, they finally gave him up, leading to his current life in the shelter where he is well-cared for.
* With People: Ddobok loves human touch! He's initially cautious and barks at strangers in unfamiliar spaces, but if you let him approach you, he'll warm up to you soon enough! He's a lovely dog who just loves to be around familiar people and shows them lots of affection! 🩷
* With Dogs: He gets along great with his doggy friends! He sniffs and gently approaches new dogs, and once he gets to know them, he plays with them on the playbou! He gets along great with bigger dogs, and even better with dogs of his own size 😍.
* With Cats: When he sees a cat, his excitement level increases and he tends to chase it. It's manageable, but he can run off at a moment's notice, so you need to be careful when walking him.
* Separation Anxiety: He waited well alone during his stay at the foster family’s house!
* Potty Training: He's potty trained both outdoors and indoors, and is 100% pee pad trained indoors!
* Hygiene: Not a fan of baths but tolerates them well and accepts being dried.
* Walking: He has a high level of initial excitement on walks, and needs consistent walk training as he tends to pull on the leash! He is interested in dropped food and moving animals, so he needs to be watched.
* Car Sickness: Sometimes pants heavily in the car due to mild car sickness.
* Mastered commands: "Sit," "House," "Wait," "Paw," "High Five," "Lie Down," "V."
* Barks at unfamiliar visitors and when requesting something with a loud "Woof!"
* Has a strong appetite, necessitating feeding separation from other dogs.
* Frightened by the sound of car doors and motorcycles, but ongoing desensitization training is helping.
* May bark or lightly nip when startled by sudden movements or gestures.
💙 Foster's Instagram: @adogs_imbo
💙 Health issues:
* Requires regular monitoring and care due to Grade II patellar dislocation on both sides.
* Needs meticulous dental care due to a broken left molar.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
