Afi (short for Affogato) is just the happiest, sweetest, chirpiest little girl in the world! She's about a year old and LOVES to be with people--she comes when you call her and snuggles right up--really snuggling into you! She doesn't mind being scooped up and carried around. She loves anything and everything with catnip. She's happy with another young playful cat or by herself--she does sometimes get a little nippy because she's so excited about life, but she'll settle down when she has a full space and humans all the time. She always has plenty to say to you--she doesn't just meow into the abyss, she looks at you and speaks.

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.
