My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Ted, don’t let my size scare you, I am a big cuddly boy just like the super sized Teddy Bear prizes you see at Fairs and Carnivals. I am a beautiful cream color, not one of those glow-in-the-dark crazy colors, now that would definitely scare people. Back to my story, I was a stray in Ohio and when my time was up at the shelter, the people at MARS took me into their rescue program. I had a tag with the name Bear and part of a phone number. The nice lady from MARS tried different phone numbers but no one claimed me. She also brought me treats and took me to meet some of her co-workers who were also very nice and gave me a doughnut to celebrate my being rescued.

I am three to four years young, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, H/W negative and looking for a home where I can cuddle and snuggle. The people at MARS said I need to gain about 10 pounds. I walk nicely on a leash, am not food aggressive and I’m learning that crates can be a great place to get cozy. I am not bothered by most other dogs, and I liked playing with the female Pug at the kennel.
