My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LC is named after our own little sweet cat - Chip. LC is Little Chip because her ear is missing a chip. She's sweet as can be, but she really isn't interested in other animals. It is possible that she could acclimate if she had only 1 or 2 other pets in her home, but there are just too many here. For this reason, we are discounting her to a $25 adoption fee, which is well below the amount invested in her, but we feel she would be much happier somewhere that she can be the only pet or at least without so many others.

She's very loving, and will join me in the bedroom with other cats, where she is fine with them. She likes to play and has the sweetest-sounding meow. She is also tiny, but fat. She also hangs the tip of her tongue out and she is adorable with the pink against her black coat.

She is very affectionate and one of the easiest bathers ever for us. I was very impressed with her calmness under the faucet, especially since she was already several months old when she came to us. She will make a great lap cat for someone.

LC has been spayed and is up to date on shots and comes with a microchip.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please reach out and we can answer any questions you have about the potential pet before submitting an application.

2.

Interview

This may also be back and forth messaging for both of us to get clarification (yea technology). Home checks can be virtual as well.

3.

Approve Application

4.

Pay Fee

The adoption fee is refundable in the event the adoption is not finalized after the home trial.

5.

Take the Pet Home

Home trials are 1-2 weeks to determine if the cat is a good fit. Adopters can exchange a cat that is not a good fit during this time frame.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

If you choose to move forward with the adoption then this is the last step. CONGRATULATIONS!

Additional adoption info

We do allow cats to be foster-to-adopt after 8 weeks of age, if they are utd on vaccines, until they are spayed or neutered (4 months +) and receive final vaccines. After this, the adoption can be finalized.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to give as many cats as possible a second chance at a good life, especially those who are most vulnerable or abused, injured, have a disability or terminal illness, or are in need of medical care.

We are a no-kill care program and work hard to rehab and rehome as many cats as possible. We are all volunteers so we rely completely on donations.

Watch for postings of our adoptables daily! We want to help them find the right homes quickly so we can help more kitties!!

We are very fortunate that many times we see cats go from scared garbage kitties to beautiful loving cats and we want them to find great homes quickly...so we don't get too attached!!!
