My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darla (2 year old female) & her son Derby (1 year old) we’re abandoned as strays in Kuwait. They have been in a boarding facility for over a year and we are desperate to help them and the wonderful overwhelmed rescue there to find homes for these two together. We are looking for a foster, a foster-to-adopt or ideally an adopter for when they arrive in San Francisco for placement in October 2023.

Both Darla & Derby are fully vaccinated, tested negative for feline leukemia virus & FIV, spayed and neutered and will be microchipped before they are adopted. They are both friendly and sweet cats who deserve more than sitting in a cage waiting for a home.

Please get in touch if you’d like to foster or adopt this awesome twosome: pj@fuzzybuttrescue.org

More about this rescue

It is our mission to directly support the adoption and placement of rescued cats and kittens into permanent homes. Furthermore, we are committed to the well-being of these homeless cats, as well as educating the public on responsible companion animal guardianship, the need to spay/neuter pets, the overall prevention of animal cruelty, and an active encouragement of trap-neuter-release (TNR) in our community.

We operate in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Austin, Texas area.
