Eloise is a beautiful tortie girl looking for her forever home. Eloise has done a great job of raising five kittens and is now looking for someone to pamper her. She is a very food-motivated cat (especially wet food and cat grass) and she loves to share her opinion with you. Eloise loves her cat tree and enjoys watching birds and squirrels, as well as other cats, in the yard and outside. This sweetheart likes being close to those she trusts, and while she is not a lap cat, she does enjoy snuggles. She is getting more playful every day as she transitions from full-time mothering, and enjoys chasing anything that dangles!

Eloise is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and dewormed. She tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (“FIV”) which causes a weakening of a cat’s immune system. Cats with FIV can live a healthy normal life, both in quality and longevity.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
