My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a resilient spirted dog, I'm the doggo for you. Grayson is my name and I'm a 7-year-old pup who's been through a lot but still has so much love to give. Here's a glimpse into my remarkable journey:

🐕 Resilient Spirit: Life has thrown me a few curveballs, but I've shown remarkable resilience. Despite my past, I'm full of love and trust for humans.

🚶 Leash Pro: Walking with me is a breeze! I'm an expert on a leash, and our walks will be smooth and enjoyable. I'd love to explore the world with you.

💕 Friendly and Trusting: I'm a friendly soul, always eager to make new friends. I believe in the goodness of people and look forward to forming a deep bond with my forever family.

🏡 Ideal Home: I'm seeking a calm and loving home where I can finally enjoy the stability and love I deserve. A patient and understanding owner would be perfect for me.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Great with Everyone: I get along well with people of all ages. Whether you're a family looking for a loyal companion or an individual seeking a faithful friend, I'm here for you.

📋 Health: I may have had a rough life, but I'm in good health and ready to embark on a new chapter. All I need is your love and care to thrive.

If you're ready to offer a loving and stable home to a dog who's been through tough times and is now eager to experience the love and security of a forever family, let's meet. I promise to fill your life with gratitude, loyalty, and endless love.

If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.

Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area.

The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, a bordetella vaccination and are dewormed.
