My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is Frankie - he's a 3-year old Bulldog mix who weighs about 62 pounds.  He is a total lover and really enjoys being near his person.  Frankie hasn't met any kids yet, but we think he'd be just fine with kids since he's a friendly guy.

Frankie is pretty low energy. He enjoys hanging around the house, spending time in the yard, and playing with his canine foster brother.  Due to his breed mix, Frankie gets winded on walks - so brief walks are best when it comes to exercise.  While he isn't a big fan of toys, he does love a good bone to chew on.

His foster dad says "This sweet, stocky boy is happiest with a chew toy in his mouth and his person by his side to give kisses to!"  He describes him as friendly, outgoing, confident, adaptable, happy, playful, and loyal.  We believe that Frankie will do well in most environments, but he can get whiny when crated.  His wish list for his future home would include a fenced yard to roam around in and a canine friend for companionship - these aren't requirements, but we do think they would make him very happy!

If you'd like to adopt Frankie - apply today!  His minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
