What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I am an extremely friendly and cuddly, tortoiseshell colored, medium-long hair Manx (tailless) cat around 6 years old. I am quiet and love curling up on a heating pad, on or near my human, tummy rubs & pets.
We received her & her sister last November when a friend's dad needed to re-home them when he moved into senior care.
We didn't find out until later that she has Manx Syndrome - besides missing her tail, she is also missing the last vertebrae or so, impacting her nerves that control over her bladder and lower GI. She is unable to clean her rear completely and often won't allow me to wipe her. I am disabled and cannot keep up with the cleanup of the house or Mira. She deserves better.
She is chronically sneezy and has occasional coughing fits, but all of her tests have been negative.
She is currently eating Costco premium kibble at-will with half a small can of wet food in the evening. I am willing to provide 2 weeks of food, waterproof furniture covers, & her cat tree.
