Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet and gentle Kiya was raised with three dogs and a seven-year-old boy. She loved playing with all of them. When the family relocated, she could not be included in the move to a new place. Now she’s looking for love and playtime in her forever home. One of Kiya’s most loved activities is playing fetch with her favorite toy. The game of fetch is what she really likes to do first thing in the morning and then late in the day. She gets a little rambunctious in the morning and evening so some lively playtime to use up some kitten energy would be beneficial before bedtime. Kiya is very inquisitive and sociable. She’ll greet any new person with interest and check them out. She likes it a lot when you talk to her, especially when she’s a bit tired and ready to settle down for a nap, which she loves to do in your lap. She thinks it’s great to drink water from the bathtub or sink faucet if you turn it on to drip a little. She likes just a small spoonful, not much, of wet food and is very good at eating her dry food. She really loves those kitty treats too! Kiya would thrive in an active family where they can give her the loving attention and playtime she deserves.
Are you interested in adopting Kiya or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application.
