Meet Willow, the whimsical wanderer! Legend has it, my foster family stumbled upon me sprinting through a storm on a road named Willowbend—hence my catchy moniker. By day, you can catch me as a vibrant ball of energy, frolicking in the backyard. Breakfast? My favorite part of the day. Nom, nom, nom! After which, a playful round of catch or a sprint in the garden sounds divine. Then? Well, nap time! And you'll chuckle when my tongue sticks out as I sprawl in dreamland.
Give it a few hours, and I'll get the zoomies again, craving a mid-day saunter or another jaunt in the yard. Beware: I've got a penchant for decimating toys and cardboard boxes—but only the ones gifted by mom and dad, promise!
When it comes to companionship, I’m generally a friendly furball. I've hung out with some feline friends. As for my fellow canines, it might be a good idea to give us a little time or a meet-and-greet to ensure I’m comfortable. I can be a bit wary and prefer a 'sniff before smooch‘ policy.
A renowned dog behaviorist, Amanda Rietheimer, is eager to help me meet other pooches, and she's excited to assist once I find a loving adopter!
Training-wise, I've mastered "sit," "lay down," and "touch“ and I’m a sucker for treats, so I’ll happily retreat to my crate when it's time!
As for my favorite evening ritual, nothing beats snuggling on the couch with my humans. If you're ready to be part of my next chapter, I'm all ears (and tail wags)!
