My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cuddle bug is 5 years old and 10 pounds.  She is a pretty chocolate color and so very sweet.  Willow gets along with all of her foster siblings big and small, she plays very well with everyone especially a little 2 pound female chihuahua that is in my home.

Actually I like Willow, she makes me laugh doing her own thing.  She can be independent and sometimes she wants to follow you all over the house and just be your buddy.  There are times that she just hangs out with all of the foster dogs and sometimes she puts herself behind a gate to be roommates with 3 much bigger Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers!

Willow was dumped in a field with 5 of her siblings, several rescue groups divided them up.  All of them were very emaciated and heartworm positive.  Willow has gone through heartworm treatment SUCCESSFULLY and fully recovered.  There is nothing that needs to be done for her except have her on monthly heartworm preventative or the ProHeart yearly heartworm preventative.

Willow walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  This little girl really wants to be your buddy, her demeanor is great.  She has not aggression in any area and for her to have been starved, she is not food aggressive and now that she knows she has food every day, she does not eat a lot.

If you are interested in adopted Willow, please submit an application on the website below.  The websites marketing the dogs do not transfer their applications to us.  Thank you.
