Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Barbie! She is approximately three years old and 10 pounds. She has a beautiful shiny coat and is medium to low energy and calm. She came to DRWB from a family who neglected her. She would spend her days in the back yard, sometimes with no food or water.
Since her rescue she moved in with a loving foster who has other dogs. It took her only a day to realize that she was in a safe place and for the first time learned what it was to receive love and attention. She fell in love with her foster in 24 hours.
She is much better now, but still has to work on her confidence. She is getting better with each passing day.
Barbie sleeps in her doggy bed inside an open crate. She does not like to share her food, but does not bite. With dogs she is initially cautious but ends up playing with them once she assesses the situation.
She is not a barker. Leash training will be needed. She likes to go potty outdoors, but please be aware that once she moves to a new environment she will need to learn the new routine.
Barbie deserves to go to a loving family who will have the patience to build her confidence and will love and care for her for the rest of her life.
