My name is Shirley / LaVerne!

Shirley (with blue eyes) and LaVerne are a bonded pair; pretty much sisters! They were rescued while living on their own and trying to survive the wild coyotes that were attacking them. In spite of this horrible experience, both are loving and friendly with both people and other dogs. LaVerne and Shirley will need to be adopted together. LaVerne is also heartworm positive and will need a home that can help her through that treatment. (UFBH will cover cost of her treatment.) These are two very special girls who will bring much love and Basset-ness to any home they join.
