Word on the street is that hard times build character. Is that true? What do I know, do you expect words of wisdom from a 3 year old Frenchie who happens to be Melvin? Yep, that’s me. I would shrug for you in that “maybe I am wise beyond my ears (I mean YEARS) kind of a way”, but let’s be real; this 23 pound ball of cuteness and cuddles doesn’t waste time on such things as shrugs. I have more important things to do, such as cuddles and speeding around my race track of a foster home on my set of wheels. I am just that good. I don’t dwell on how I got here. My former owner did not deserve me, but I don’t let what they’ve done to me slow me down or change the fact that I know people can be good. And that I am impossibly lovable. I like being pampered and sleeping in bed with my human, I love car rides, and sure I do wear a belly band to help with my “business” that I need to do, but that doesn’t slow me down. My foster mom says I am determined and proud pup despite the fact that I want to be anywhere and everywhere she is. I scoot around like a champ without my chair when I’m indoors, and because I am fearless, my foster mom makes sure to set me down from the couch or bed when they happen to need to get moving themselves. I don’t make a big fuss, she just likes dote on me. I am looking for my fur-ever home who will dote on me and help me out when I need my wheels on, love on me and give me lots and lots of attention. Melvin is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed and is neutered. Melvin’s adoption fee is $350.00. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS.
