My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued Sanchez from an animal shelter in the spring of 2023 at a time when there were Dobermans needing rescue everywhere (which hasn't changed much since then). We had no space, but he is so handsome that we decided to save him and arranged to board him for awhile until we had space. Now that he is with us, we can't imagine why such a handsome dog wasn't adopted while at the shelter! He's probably 3-4 years old, weighs 80+ pounds, and he's dog-social. In his behavioral evaluation, the animal shelter folks said Sanchez tried to mount the other dogs when in the play group but didn't show aggression to any of them. He is a big, powerful boy though, so we think an adult home would be best for him.
