Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Andre! This handsome dude has been with us for several weeks because he came in absolutely emaciated. It took a long time of careful, consistent feedings to start getting weight on him and we’ve added some helpful enzymes. Andre is finally looking healthier (though he still has more pounds to gain) so we’re starting the search for his new home. He’s about 3 years old, crate trained and has some obedience training he’s happy to show off when he’s focused. He is sweet with people and doesn’t seem like much of a watchdog. 😂 Andre is not good with cats and he’s afraid of other dogs so he gets overwhelmed easily. He has gotten more comfortable around some calm, well behaved female dogs but a dog park would be a terrible experience for him. He will need someone who can advocate for his space when he’s out in public so isn’t overwhelmed by unwelcome dogs. Andre will also need someone that can make sure he gets good nutrition moving forward while he makes his way back to full health. We love this silly boy and want to see him get the devoted home he deserves.
