My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Canela is a sweet girl who came to us after being surrendered by her owner. She swallowed a rock and needed emergency surgery to remove the blockage. She was quite sick at the time, having not eaten for 5 days and very dehydrated. Thankfully, she was able to be saved and she made a full recovery. Canela is about a little under 2 years old, very sweet, easy going and good with other dogs. She was a little fearful of new dogs when she first arrived but she has grown to enjoy their company. She loves her people dearly and we would love to see her in a home where can be an inclusive member of the family. We don't know why she swallowed rocks prior but it could have been due to boredom since she was an outdoor dog. We would love to see her live a life of adventure with lots of walks, snuggles and more time with her family.
