My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Astro was found in a central Texas community wandering around with his siblings. They had belonged somewhere as they were not afraid of people. Astro loves playing with other dogs, the swimming pool and who wouldn't in this heat. Astro will be neutered at the end of the month. He would be a great family dog by himself or with another dog. Astro is crate trained and housetrained. He lets you know when he needs to go out. The adoption fee for Astro includes transport to the CT area with one of two transporters that we use. More about this rescue

Mission Statement:

To provide a safe environment for neglected or abused canines that need a place to rehabilitate or be in foster care until a permanent home can be established for them. To work with and assist like-minded animal assistance organizations and assist them with providing sanctuary and rehabilitation for canines until permanent homes can be established for them.

We started as a private rescue over 10 years ago and we are now a 501c3. Our goal is to help the homeless and neglected dogs in Texas and to do what we can to educate on the value of spay and neuter so the tragic loss of life of dogs and cats can be prevented.
