Online Adoption Application

This sweet puppy was part of an accidental litter. The rescue spayed momma and took in the puppies . We know mom.a is a Doodle and daddy is a pit bull.

Lady Jane is such a Sweetheart! She's a huge cuddler and Really wants to be with her person almost all the time. She gets along well with my 3 other, larger, female dogs, and I'm sure would be fine with males as well. She'll give a little grumble if you give the others too much attention, but isn't aggressive, and loves to play with them. As they're 2-3 times her size, she starts out a little cautious but then can get as crazy as they are. She's potty-pad trained, but recently learned to go in and out of the doggy door, so is working on knowing when to go outside. She's also learning to walk on a leash but wants to be so close she tends to get under your feet so needs more work there. She's Very attached to whoever she selects as her person, so though she starts out very shy, once she knows you, she can't get enough! She's very quiet in her crate (though she's sleeping on the bed with the others), and doesn't complain about going in at all. She's only been in a few times when we had to leave the house because she's all puppy and as all puppies do, will chew things she probably shouldn't if you're not watching. She will be the Best and Sweetest dog if you want a cuddle buddy who will love you forever!!

1.
Submit Application

If you find a dog you are interested in there will be a link to the adoption application. Once completed a volunteer will contact you.

2.
Interview

You will receive an email asking additional questions. The adoption advocate will research homeownership, vet, pet policies.

3.
Approve Application

Once the application is approved you will receive an email asking you about setting up a meet.

4.
Meet the Pet

You will meet the dog and if everything goes well, we will then go about finalizing the adoption.

Sign Adoption Contract

About
Animal Advocates is a ffoster based rescue whose purpose is to secure animals from local high kill shelters, euthanasia lists, as well as intervening when an individual is no longer able to care for animals in their possession.

We have no "kenneled" facility that houses our animals. We have dedicated fosters who incorporate these animals into their families. This dynamic allows us to fully evaluate the animals in a variety if settings to ready them for their forever homes.

Description
We educate the public regarding the importance of spay, neuter programs and provide low cost alternatives to basic veterinary care. Behavioral and nutritional information is also addressed...we always encourage to adopt..not shop. When possible we assist families by providing information that with effort will allow them to keep these gentle souls and retain their pets.

We have foster homes in Seminole, Orange, Volusia, Brevard, Lake and Osceola counties.

General Information
All of the animals available for adoption have been spayed/neutered and micro chipped, all have current vaccines including rabies (if old enough). They are maintained on both flea had heart worm preventative. Any medical as well as behavioral issues have been addressed and are fully disclosed before the time of adoption.
