Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Amazing Walter is a survivor! He came from the county animal shelter e-list with a severely broken leg with old and new fractures, limited vision, and most people had written him off. We looked at him and said we will take him! After his exam, we moved forward with amputating his shattered leg. Walter handled the surgery well and has recovered. His personality is blossoming and he seems to be more cat-like than a dog as he likes pets but is happy to hang out in his bed alone right after. We are committed to finding Walter a family that will celebrate his resilience, provide snuggly dog beds, and have the patience to help him learn his new surroundings. We can guarantee Walter will provide a lifetime of love and the knowledge that you saved a life. Walter is an 11-year-old, 15-pound Schipperke mix.
