Adopters need to be within 1 hour drive of Claymont DE 19703. This guy is as sweet as he looks! Meet Diesel. Diesel came into AOL Animal Rescue when his people could no longer take care of him. They found him when he was approx 6 weeks old tied to a tree at a church and decided to keep him. Diesel is about 14 months old now and weighs close to 10 pounds. He is such a snuggle bunny, he has the ears for that name too. He is tall with those long legs, and he seriously doesn’t always remember how long they are, constantly over running the ball then almost doing a somersault. Diesel loves the other dogs, big and small, in his foster home. He’s curious with cats but quickly respects a hiss or a swat. He loves to be outside whether it’s just breathing the air, sunning or playing with the other pups or foster mom. He enjoys & travels well in the car. Diesel is crate trained and really for the most part he is house broken, doesn’t use PP pads. He knows how to sit except when foster mom comes home. He has a pretty loud bark for a small guy so we won’t be able to place him in an apartment. He doesn’t usually bark at nothing, but if there is a loud neighbor or sharing an entry or hallway, it just wouldn’t be a good fit for him. Diesel was recently neutered and received vaccines, checked for HW and on heart worm prevention, and he’s microchipped. He is a very submissive pup so he would do best with another easy going dog or a dog friendly kitty cat, but not by himself. He’s been with another dog ever since he was found.
