Zaza is a male black and white Miniature Poodle. He is almost 3 years old and he weighs 10.7 pounds. Zaza is neutered and fully vaccinated including rabies. Zaza is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Zaza is ready for adoption.
Zaza likes to hang out with his people. He seems to be fine with people and dogs. Zaza also loves to play and especially enjoys playmates. His brother, Murphy, and he were in the same family but not the same household since they were small. They get along but are not bonded so they don’t have to be adopted together. In fact both are quite social and enjoy the company of other dogs in their play group. Zaza is improving with the kennel and potty. We think his routines in rescue care are very different than his routines were before so he has needed some time to figure things out. He walks decently on a leash. Zaza would probably adapt to any style of family given a little patience. He is a little needy of attention and would not enjoy a life where he is alone a lot.

A completed adoption application and, upon approval, an adoption contract is required. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet.
We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
