EVEREST IS WITH HIS FOSTER FAMILY IN COLORADO. Please share with your Colorado friends and family.
Everest is a kill-shelter survivor from SBC. He is a Siberian Husky (per his DNA test), approx. 2 years young, weighs 51lbs.
Here’s what Everest’s foster family has to say about him:
-Dog-friendly, likes having a confident dog to look up to. He would love to have a furry brother or sister!
-Medium energy, enjoys hikes & walks in quiet areas, but also enjoys couch cuddles.
-Calm & relaxed in the car. He just took a roadtrip with his foster family!
-Quiet at home & in public, perfect work from home buddy.
-Playful, goofy personality once he’s comfortable with you!
Everest can be nervous of strangers, but he has made tons of progress in just a few weeks. Here are some things that his foster family does to set him up for success:
1. Give him a safe place to retreat to if visitors come over
2. Take him to public places on off-peak days/hrs to desensitize & socialize him
3. Take longer walks early in the morning & at night when it’s quieter
Apply to adopt Everest & watch how he blossoms with your love!
Everest is ready to make some family very happy. He is available for adoption now so if you would like to be making memories with this cutie, complete an application: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/4362/generic
