My name is Danny and I'd love to be your friend! I'm 7 years old and lived with a wonderful person who couldn't keep me anymore due to their own health issues. They didn't know anyone who could give me a home, so they gave me to ARE Animal Rescue. I can live here at ARE as long as I need to, but I really would love to be back in a home with humans to cuddle with. I've been fixed, and have all my shots, plus a microchip, so the only thing left is to find my forever person. Is that you?

Our goal is to adopt as many pets into loving forever homes as possible each month. We screen applications and arrange meet and greet times with each animal. Once the potential adopter has completed their application and met the pet, we do a 1 on 1 consultation about pet care and the life expectancy of their new family member.

Why do we do what we do?

We rescue animals because they deserve a second chance at life. They didn't ask to be thrown out like trash or trapped and put into a scary place.

We rescue from high kill shelters and immediate danger.

Every animal deserves a chance at life.
