Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Paco
Male
DSH/Brown Tabby
5 years old
10 lbs.
Hey there! I’m Paco! I’m a super friendly guy and I can’t wait to find a forever home of my very own.
My foster says I’m a total cutie who loves to cuddle and get all the affection and love. I’m an easy going, confident cat and I am really comfortable meeting new people. (Who invented the phrase “scaredy cat” anyway?) I’m a big fan of exploring different rooms and am particularly interested in closet doors. What treasures might be inside? Toys? Because if so, I’d like to take that toy and hide it somewhere fun for safe keeping.
I have lived with other cat friends in the past and I’ve done well but I’ve also been a solo cat for a while now and enjoyed being on my own. I live in a home with a dog and we get along well!
I enjoy napping, watching the world go by from my favorite window, and playing with cat toys when I’m in the mood. But my favorite activity? That’s right…getting affection! I love jumping into laps to get lots of love and pets. I’m great with my litter box. Sometimes I’ll follow you around to see what we might do together. I’m hoping you’ll give me a chance to charm you with my wonderful ways!
I recently had eyelid surgery and a dental with a few extractions so I am feeling MUCH better after my procedures! I may have a bit of a droopy eyelid going forward but don’t worry-it doesn’t affect me negatively. You should also know that I’m FIV positive, but please know that FIV+ cats typically live long and healthy lives! FIV may affect my immune system strength in my golden years but I will likely be asymptomatic for the majority of my life. FIV is not contagious to people or dogs and is only passed along to another cat through a deep cat bite. Here’s a helpful website with more information! And PawsCo is happy to answer any additional questions.
If you’d like to add some purrfection to your life, please email my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org or check out this information page: https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. I can’t wait to meet you!
