Introducing King, a 2-year-old Pitty mix who is ready to find his forever home! Despite a rough start in life, King is the sweetest and most gentle dog you'll ever meet. He was found in July after being hit by a car and left on the side of the road. Thankfully, he received the necessary surgeries to fix his broken hips with bone plates and wires.
King weighs around 50 pounds and is in good health. He is heartworm negative and on prevention, as well as up to date on his vaccines. He is not currently on any medications. Although he is not neutered yet, he will be before going to his forever home.
This lovable pup gets along well with both men and women, as well as children. He is also good with other dogs and cats, making him a great addition to any family. King is house trained and has a low energy level indoors. He enjoys playing ball and with fluffy toys, and he is leash trained.
King is a great travel companion and loves car rides. He has no issues with riding in a vehicle. He has been eating Purina 1 lamb and rice dog food, but his diet can be adjusted to suit his new home.
As of now, King doesn't have any future medical expenses, but he may require follow-up appointments for his hips as he gets older. He is officially ready for a forever home or a foster-to-adopt situation.
If you're looking for a sweet and gentle companion who will bring joy to your life, consider giving King the loving home he deserves. Reach out to the appropriate contact for more information and to start the adoption process. Let's help King find his happily ever after!
