Get ready to fall in love! Yippee can be shy at first and likes to greet new guests at her own pace. Once she's in a home, her personality will blossom, and she'll show you what a loving companion she can be. Yippee loves to do kitten things: explore, play, investigate, and has predatory type behaviors, which lets them "practice" skills that they would normally need for survival. Play-motivated biting behavior is common in young active kittens/cats. Providing Yippee with appropriate toys and playtime will help her become the best kitten she can be.

We have a simple adoption application and approval process. Our adoption fees vary by animal, but generally include neutering, age appropriate vaccinations, behavior and health assessments, and health insurance. In addition, all adopters have free access to our Adopter Support program for assistance with health or behavior issues that may arise.

Michigan Humane is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in Michigan, taking in approximately 35,000 animals per year.
