Ellyott, born May 2023, rescued with a feral mom, and raised in foster care. He is bonded to Cooper, who he met in foster care, and they are bffs. He has a high, squeaky-toy meow and he knows how to use it. He was a loving and adventurous kitten but is currently very anxious and reactive. He is extremely shy around other people but is a boneless lovebug when he is comfortable. He is very snuggly and prefers to be in physical contact with his human as much as possible, especially when napping. When he sleeps by himself he holds his back paws with his front paws - its really cute but he's always in danger of falling off something when ,he wakes! He usually locates Conner or Myssy to sleep with if he can't attach to his human.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. We deliver the kitty to your home, so you must live within an hour of Silverton.
$125 adoption fee for kitties under one year and $100 for kitties over one year.
Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat
or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
We do use the application to match our kitties to the purrfect home. Please be patience when you apply for a kitty; we are all volunteers.
All our kitties are altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, receive age appropriate vaccines, are dewormed, treated for fleas and tested for FIV/FELV.
