Harlow is a sweet, petite lab mixed with some sort of retriever as she has a little bit of a longer/shaggy coat. Think of a small, black, golden. She is about 45lbs and about 1ish years old. Harlow is doing great in foster. She gets along well with her foster fur siblings- both cats and dogs. She loves to play and romp with her doggie friends but comes in and chills nicely. She likely was a house dog before as she knows how to crate and she also has been asking to go outside for potty. So far, she hasn’t had any accidents. In addition to being potty and crate trained she knows some tricks and is working on others. She knows sit, and her foster is working with her on other commands. Harlow did test positive for heartworm disease which means she will need to go through treatment. The treatment involves oral antibiotics and then 2 injections. After the injections she needs 6 weeks of rest (no running/jumping/playing) so her body can heal. She can be adopted prior to treatment and treatment is included in the adoption fee at our vets.

Requirements: No special requirements

Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives.
