Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Ester and I was found as a small kitten running the streets on my own. I was about 4 months old when I was surrendered to PAWS by the lady who found me. I was very thin (I guess not good at finding the food sources!) and needed some TLC which I got a lot of at PAWS-OK. I have had a couple 'set backs' in my search for a new home. One was when I popped a stitch a few weeks after spay surgery that got infected. Then one of the other cats in the Adoption Center got into my cage and gave me a pretty nasty cut on my tummy which also got infected. I am NOT friendly with most other cats so that wasn't a surprise actually. I am having a little problem in the Adoption Center because I am very attached to my enclosure there. I LOVE IT so much I don't want to come out of it which can, unfortunately,be an issue when people want to meet me. I am actually a very loving cat who is looking for a quiet home where I am an only cat (dogs who leave me alone are fine) and I'd probably be best suited to a home with older children rather than young ones (although I haven't had any real experience with young kids). Once I get to know you I am very affectionate. While I have some of the characteristics of a Maine Coon, I am NOT large at all.... in fact some people think I am still a kitten. I am a petite, beautiful little girl who is looking for a great new home. Come visit me today! All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only). Some of our cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the 'Adopt' tab to see a list of those currently available in the PetSmart Adoption Center. The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: pawsok@sbcglobal.net or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!April 28, 2024, 2:01 pm
