My name is Demi Moore and PAWS named me that after they rescued me from the OKC Shelter in May. I was round with kittens and very strange looking because I had been freshly shaved when I was brought to the shelter. I understand that people shave cats down all the time but my hair cut was a bit unusual. My hair on the top of my head, down the top of my back, and down the top side of my tail was shaved close to the skin! Gave me quite the weird look! I was also pretty heavy with kittens and gave birth less than 5 days later, but none of them survived. They didn't know the reason for sure but they were so small as to be premature and I am not a spring chicken (est DOB 2009). I was quite skinny after the birth (see picture) and quite the odd looking cat but my appetite came back and so did my hair. Now I am a beauty! I love to talk and I am very affectionate with people I like but I don't have a lot of patience with people I don't like (a typical calico 'cat-attude') and usually let them know right away if they don't meet my expectations. I am looking for a great new quiet home I can share with one or two people so I can be the center of their attention. I love to eat and will eat until I bust so for my continued good health, an owner who regulated my food intake would be the best kind for me. I All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption.
