Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My husband met socks as a baby at his friend's farmhouse. He was a barn kitten. Jake fell in love and took him home. He raised him for the last 9 years. Currently, socks has not been thriving in our home of chaos with another dog and children and another baby on the way. I think the changes have been stressful to him and have caused him to pee outside his box. He was a really good cat when it was just him and Jake. We are looking for a home to love Socks as much as we do. It may take a few days or so for him to get used to a new face, but once he does he loves pressing his forehead against you and nuzzling you. He loves sitting by open windows and any chance to go outside on his leash where he smells every plant for several minutes. It took a while for him to get to know our chihuahua, but they get along fairly well. We hope he can find a good happy home where he can thrive before we move at the end of the year.
