My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am looking for a fun and very active owned home with a securely fenced yard. I LOVE my butcher bones, kongs other variety of chew toys, and my humans. I will enjoy hikes, walks and dog training since I am an energetic and athletic large dog. I do like dogs my size but meet and greets are required due to my energy level. I am an indoor dog, crate trained and don't like being left outside by myself. No cats. No apartments. Taking online applications.

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.

SInce the vast majority of our animals are kept in foster homes, it's best to contact us at: info@hhsanimals.org to inquire about meeting an animal. You can also visit some of our available pets at one of our weekly adoption events at either the Petsmart or Petco stores near Bandera Rd and 1604 in far NW San Antonio on Saturday's from 12:00-3:00.
