My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fergie is a little darling…sweet, happy, loveable and very good natured. She loves being around people and really enjoys any personal attention that they wish to lavish her with. Although she came from an adult home, she is good with kids…she is also good with other dogs and cats. She came to us with Gizmo, who is also posted and they are best buddies. She is more of the “in charge” type and he is more “follower” type, so they get along famously. The owner clipped their coats down for the summer, but both of them are little scruffies…either way they are BEAUTIFUL little dogs. They have always been very well cared for and have received everything that they need to keep them in the best of health and happy. They are used to sleeping with their Mom, both are house trained and have the run of the house. The lady that owned them had some health problems and felt she could not look after her dogs like she needed or wanted to. She decided that they deserved better and asked us to find them a great new home, hopefully together or at least find them a home with another small dog. She just wants them to be the center of attention and loved as much as she loves them. Fergie is 2 years old (dob 5/20/21) and she weighs 14 pounds. She has been spayed, heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400 or $750 if you’d like to adopt her Gizmo together.

Fergie is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to residents of those states.
