My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jacques, born 4/5/23, is an adorable little miniature poodle with an undocked tail, who was recently rescued along with his brother Raphael. They were both underweight and covered in fleas but that has been taken care of and is now all in the past for them. Jacques is eating well and weighed 10 pounds on 9/29/23, which is close to his ideal weight for his size. He is very sweet, very smart, and when their foster mom goes out on the deck with Jacques and Raphael, they both jump straight up in the air with happiness. They look like little Mexican jumping beans. Jacques knows how to use a dog door and with free access to outside, he is doing well with his house training. He sleeps through the night in a crate with his brother and they have no accidents. The groomer said he behaved very well for her and he looks adorable as is obvious in his updated pictures. He does well riding in the car in a crate and is learning to walk on a leash. Jacques is located in Arkansas. His adoption fee is $965 each which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Jacques, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.
Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
