Introducing Poppie, an amazingly adorable young golden girl who came to us from the Bakersfield shelter after being found as a stray. It is clear Poppie had a family at one point as she loves people, loves dogs, and is a very happy girl.

Poppie is high energy and will need daily walks/hikes and play time. She is food motivated and learns quickly, so training will be fun and easy. She walks well on leash and wants to say hello to people and dogs she sees out and about.

The most important thing to our sweet girl is her people, so someone around most of the time would be great. She wants to be where you are, be it on the couch…in bed…or out adventuring. She also loves her toys, especially the plushy ones!
