YOU NEED MARION AND HIS SPECTACULAR TAIL IN YOUR LIFE!
Marion is 7-8 yrs, mellow, good on a leash, friendly with people, and ok with calmer dogs.
He will sit for treats, and is a sweet boy - he loves attention, and he wants to be right there with you all the time. Marion does have some skin issues which need to be managed with allergy meds during the summer. THE RESCUE WILL PAY FOR THESE MEDS EVEN AFTER ADOPTION!
Marion also comes with 2 free training sessions with our trainer!
We really want to get Marion a home....he has waited too long and he is a very good boy! We need someone to open their home and heart to this big guy of 85 lbs.

PLEASE NOTE that we will call your vet to ensure all current and prior dogs have been kept up to date on rabies and distemper at a minimum as well as annual heartworm test and a minimum of 6 mos heartworm preventative purchased per year. Any current pets must be spayed/neutered

Fees will vary....but average adoption fee will be about $350-$400 for an adult dog, which will be spay/neutered, UTD on all vacs and HW prevent.
We will require the application on our website to be filled out, and will do a complete check, including veterinary history and home visit (if they pass our approval process). Application must be approved prior to any meet & greet being scheduled. Contracts will include clauses regarding the mandatory care for the dog, as well as clauses requiring the dog to be returned to the rescue if for any reason they are unable to keep it.

Miracle German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Maine is a registered non profit corporation in Maine, with 501(c)3 status. We are a small, foster based rescue headquartered in Mid Coast Maine (Searsmont). We will help local (Northeast Dogs) first, but will bring in dogs from the South and from California when space allows.
