Meet Carmelo. This handsome guy was hit by a car on Christmas. He was at risk for being euthanized because he required surgery to fix his luxating hip. Luckily, EBARR and the Hayward Animal Shelter were able to get him the surgery he needed, which was a femoral head ostectomy. He's a loving boy who becomes your shadow and loves belly rubs. He does well with cats and most other dogs depending on their size and if they are playful and gentle with him. He's crate trained loves toys and food.
